David H. Shaw, II is a Senior Associate at Butler Pappas.

He devotes his practice to first party property coverage.  Prior to joining Butler Pappas, David developed his civil litigation experience defending various clients in third-party liability litigation, which included mediating numerous cases, as well as, defending some of his clients at trial.

David is a member of The Florida Bar and the Hillsborough County Bar Association.  He has been admitted to practice before the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida and all Florida State Courts.

David earned his Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law in December 2001.  While at Stetson University College of Law, David also participated in  the dual J.D./M.B.A. program and earned his Master of Business Administration degree in December 2001.  Prior to his legal education, David earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida in Business Management.  Upon graduating from Stetson College of Law, David received the William F. Blews Pro Bono Service Award and was nominated for inclusion into the National Deans List.
